MY PASSION FOR ANIMALS HAS BEEN A LIFELONG JOURNEY.
In 2005, I began volunteering with the Collie Rescue League of New England, where I had the privilege of serving on the board of directors in every leadership role, including president. During those years, I opened my home and heart to foster collies, providing them with love and care while they awaited their forever families. In addition, I volunteered with That Newfoundland Place of CT and Boomer’s Best Buddies Rescue of CT.
After a successful career in advertising helping businesses grow, I knew it was time to follow my own dream. And so, in 2012, Rising Sun Dog Walking was born.
Through my years of experience, I’ve learned the best care starts with paying attention to the little details that make your pet so special. The way a dog lights up when they see their leash. The favorite nap spot a cat always returns to. The quirky habits that make them who they are!
Today, I’m proud to lead an exceptional team of caring, dedicated professionals who share the same commitment to providing outstanding pet care. We can’t wait to meet you!

IT'S ALWAYS BEEN A PASSION; MY HEART COULDN'T SAY NO.
When I started with Rising Sun back in 2021 as a dog walker, I truly had no idea the journey this job would take me on. Animals have always been a true passion of mine and I, like many, struggled for years trying to find my calling. I was seeking the balance of a career in pet care that wasn’t necessarily in the medical realm. So when the opportunity to join this incredible team presented itself; to be able to work with animals every day and to do it alongside people who shared a common passion of mine, it was something my heart just couldn’t say no to.
My love for animals started at a very young age when I began horseback riding. As I grew, so did my love for all animals. So for me, this job was already so fulfilling. Getting to become a leader and be a part of the growth of Rising Sun is something I couldn’t have even dreamt up for myself. Little did I know back in 2021, walking dogs would lead me to General Manager of the most amazing company.
I am so lucky to not only be a part of such an amazing team, but to also love on some of the best pups in our community! I look forward to meeting you and your fur-babies!
